Funeral services will be held Friday, November 30, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the Roseland Park Baptist Church, Picayune for the Rev. Joseph Wayne Tatum, 39, of Picayune who passed away Monday, November 26, 2007 in Picayune.

Burial will be in the Rolling Hills Baptist Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune, Miss.

Dr. Randy Von Kanel will officiate at the services.

A native of Jackson, Miss. he was a Pastor at Rolling Hills Baptist Church and a member of Rolling Hills Baptist Church, McNeill, Miss. Joey was a graduate of Picayune High School Class of 1986; graduate of Pearl River Community College; Graduate of William Carey College; and received his MDiv from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Joseph Everett and Mollie Tatum of Meridian, Miss. and Richard Thomas and Elma McIntosh of McComb, Miss.

Survivors include: his wife, Cindy Croney Tatum of Picayune; his parents, John and Tommie Tatum of Picayune; one son, Ezekiel Wayne Tatum of Picayune; one brother the Rev. Brian Tatum and wife, Christie of Walnut, Miss.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2007 from 6 -9 p.m. in the Roseland Park Baptist Church, Picayune and also on Friday, November 30, 2007 from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at the Roseland Park Baptist Church.
