Planning Commission meets Tuesday

The Picayune Planning Commission meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the council’s chambers at the new City Hall, 815 N. Beech St.
Included on the agenda are:
Public hearing on preliminary development and final subdivision plat for Corey Smith to subdivide three lots into two larger lots at 398 N. Bay St.
Public hearing on preliminary development and final subdivision plat for Ted Musgrove to one parcel into two parcels at 1394 and 1396 Palestine Rd.
Public hearing on preliminary development and final subdivision plat and variance for Leavern Guy to re-subdivide three parcels and a variance for lot total square footage for property on Weems, Jarrell and Davis streets, which is zoned R-3 multi-family residential.
Public hearing on preliminary and final subdivision plat for an office building for Beau Jardin development.
Public hearing on a variance request for Pearl River County for parking spaces for the Pearl River County administration building, formerly Chimney Square.
Conditional use request by Darryl Whitfield for a flea market on East Canal to allow temporary tents for vendors to be replace by metal pavilions.
Conditional use request by St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church to use a newly purchased house for an office building.
Discussion of a variance request to allow construction of a duplex on a non-conforming lot with 50-foot width instead of a required 60-foot width for property on South Haugh that is zoned R-4.
