Meeting scheduled for Road Home applicants

There will be an information session for applicants for the Road Home program at the Olivia Bender Cafeteria at Pearl River Community College in Poplarville 6-8 p.m. today.

The information session will allow applicants to ask questions about the program, such as eligibility, status of their application, required documentation and more.

Applicants must schedule their initial appointments by Dec. 1, and those initial appointments must be completed by Dec. 15. Applicants who have not scheduled the initial appointment and completed it by the deadline dates will not be allowed to receive assistance from the program.

The Road Home program was designed to compensate Louisiana homeowners affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita for damage to their homes.
