PRCHS Blue Maskers presents
Pictured above are the cast members of “Las Doce Princesas Ballerinas: a Mexican folklorico version of the fairy tale, “The Twelve Dancing Princesses”, adapted by PRCHS speech and theatre teacher and director Deborah Craig. Using both Mexican and Mayan motifs, the show is written for children in grades k-3, teaching them the colors, numbers and basic phrases in Spanish. The show will be Pearl River Central High School’s entry in the children’s theatre division of the Mississippi Drama Festival in January at USM in Hattiesburg, and will be presented with the one-act play, “Property Rites”, a science fiction piece which will be presented as the show An Enchanted Evening of One-Acts, on November 15, 16, and 17, at 7 p.m., at the McNeill Auditorium, on Pearl River Central Upper Elementary’s campus. General admission will be $5 at the door the evenings of performances.
