Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church for Martha Julie Soldinie LaRocca, 77, of Picayune formerly of St. Bernard Parish, La., who passed away Monday, October 8, 2007 in Picayune.

Burial will be in the St. Bernard Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune.

Father Michael Snyder will officiate at the service.

A native of Waveland, she was a retired furniture salesperson and a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Frank John LaRocca; her parents, William Turner and Cora Soldinie; four brothers, Paul Soldinie, William T. Soldinie, Jr., Roland Soldinie and Pete Ladner.

Survivors include: her children, Cynthia McCool and Frank John LaRocca, Jr. both of Carriere; John Paul LaRocca, Lisa Ann LaRocca and Glenn Darrell LaRocca all of Picayune; and Joseph Michael LaRocca of Arabi, La.; her grandchildren, Christy McCool Lanaux, Michael Audy McCool, Toni LaRocca, LeAnn LaRocca, Sophia LaRocca, Jonathan LaRocca, Lauren LaRocca, Tina LaRocca, Ashlie Lynn LaRocca, Amanda LaRocca and Joseph LaRocca, Jr.; her great-grandchildren, Tristin Ledet and Mya LaRocca; one sister-in-law, Helen Soldinie of Petal, Miss.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 from 6 p.m. until in the McDonald Funeral Home.
