Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 10 a.m. in the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church for Lucien W. Mistrot, Jr., 72, of Picayune, who died Saturday, October 6, 2007 in Hattiesburg.

Burial will be in the Biloxi National Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home of Picayune.

Father Michael Snyder will officiate at the service.

A native of New Orleans, La., he was a stagehand for IATSE Local 39 for 30 years after retiring from the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by one son, Lucien W. Mistrot, III.

Survivors include: his wife, Daphne Mistrot of Picayune; two children, Leslie Verdon of Livingston, La., and Lloyd Mistrot of Houston, Texas; one stepson, Billy Smith of Belwood, N.C.; one brother, Richard Mistrot of Picayune; one sister, Patricia Thibodeaux of Chalmette, La., and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 8, 2007 from 6-9 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
