Funeral services will be held Monday, October 8, 2007 at 11 a.m., with Rosary at 9:30 a.m., in the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, for Doris E. Doucette, 87, of Picayune, who passed away Thursday, October 4, 2007 in Picayune.

Burial will be in the First Baptist Church of Carriere Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune.

Father Mike Snyder will officiate at the service.

A native of Tylertown, Miss., she was a homemaker and a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin J. Doucette; one son, Zerrill Doucette; and one granddaughter, Tara Doucette.

Survivors include: two daughters, Sherrill Reynolds and Beverly Wheat, both of Picayune; ten grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 7, 2007 from 6-9 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
