Robert Ernest “Ernie” Dreyer II
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m.. Saturday, August 18, 2007 at White Funeral Home in Poplarville for Robert Ernest “Ernie” Dreyer, 57, of Poplarville, who passed away Tuesday at his residence. Burial will follow in the Dreyer Family Cemetery.
A native of Lake Charles, La., he was born May 22, 1950 to the late Robert Freddie Emile Dreyer and Evelyn Miller Dreyer. Mr. Dreyer was a man of many interests and devotions, including being a dedicated family man who enjoyed music, who also was a private pilot and certified SCUBA instructor. As well, he was a member of the Juniper Grove Baptist Church, a proud U.S. Navy Veteran, and a retired Manager with Federal Aviation Administration.
He was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Dreyer and one sister, Kathy Dreyer.
Survivors include: his wife, Suzanne Dreyer of Poplarville; his mother, Evelyn Dreyer of Poplarville; one daughter, Jennifer Stancliff and her husband Bryon of Enid, Okla.; two sisters, Hester Mancusi-Ungaro of Poplarville and Suzie Hudson of Pensacola, Fla.; three brothers, Fritz Dreyer and Max Dreyer both of Poplarville and Mark Dryer of Pensacola; two grandchildren, Jay Stancliff and Rex Stancliff also survive.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2007 at White Funeral Home in Poplarville.
White Funeral Home of Poplarville is in charge of arrangements.
