Lois J. Goss

Funeral services was held Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 10 a.m. in the Union Baptist Church for Lois J. Goss, 91, of Picayune, who passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2007 in Picayune.

Burial will be in the Union Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune.

The Rev. Buddy Sheriff will officiate at the service.

A native of Hancock County, Miss., she was a homemaker and a member of the Union Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Goss.

Survivors include: one daughter, Georgia McCormick and her husband Howell; two grandchildren, Mark McCormick and his wife Shannon, and Emily Fairchild and her husband William; four great-great grandchildren, Lauren, Natalie and Nate McCormick and Sela Fairchild.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Family residence at 592 F.Z. Goss Road.

McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune is in charge of the arrangements.
