Shirley A. Patch, 71, of Ocean Springs passed away Thursday, July 5, 2007 in Ocean Springs.

Mrs. Patch lived on the Gulf Coast for 55 years. She was a member of Emmanuel and First Baptist Church in Ocean Springs, a babysitter for many Ocean Springs children trough the years and a perfect loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, William Sr. and Azalee Adcox; a son, Bill Patch; and two brothers, William Adcox, Jr. and Gerald Adcox.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Cecil Doyle Patch; a daughter, Renee (Stephen) Bourg of Metairie, La.; a son, Michael Patch of Ocean Springs; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Patch of Mobile, Ala.; two grandchildren, Travis Patch and Ashley Patch, both of Mobile and two brothers, Harold Adcox of Pensacola, Fla., and Glen Adcox of Hattiesburg, Miss.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home where friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
