A Jackson County couple accused of exploiting minors for sex since 2006 were denied bond Thursday.
Jackson County Court Judge T. Larry Wilson issued the order, and the case is now bound over the grand jury for further investigation.
“We’re hoping there will be additional charges,” Jackson County Sheriff’s Department Investigator Mike Ballard said in a www.sunherald.com article. “We have additional evidence. It’ll be up to the grand jury… “
Christina Earls, 34, is charged with three counts of sexual battery for allegedly having sex with three teenage boys.
Rick Earls, 42, was arrested because it is believed he may have taped his wife’s actions.
The couple is currently being held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center.
The Earls were arrested by the U.S. Marshal’s Service Task Force on July 12 in a neighborhood just outside of San Diego, where they were reportedly vacationing.
