A county resident who was already facing nine sexual related charges in two counties recently had four new charges added by Pearl River County to the list for a total of 13.
With nine charges previously listed between two counties, Pearl River County has found enough evidence to charge David Richard “Ricky” Faulkner, 43, of 76 Quail Court, Carriere, formerly of 7289 Walthall St., Bayside Park, with four additional charges.
The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department was already holding him on a charge of lustful touching of a child and a sexual battery charge, while Hancock has charged him with six counts of molestation and one count of directing a juvenile to commit a felony.
Last Wednesday, Pearl River County added a charge of directing or causing a youth to commit a felony sexual battery, and two additional sexual battery charges, said Investigator Krista Groom.
For those charges, Justice Court Judge John Mark Mitchell set an additional cash bond of $80,000 for Faulkner.
On Friday, the department added another child molestation charge to which the court added $30,000 to the amount of his bond.
The new total of Faulkner’s bond for all of his charges is $490,000, Groom said.
Faulkner’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for today at 1 p.m. in the Pearl River County Justice Center courtroom.
