Moss Point police ID three wanted in killing
Authorities in Alabama have joined the search for three suspects in a murder in Moss Point after reports the trio were seen in Mobile on Tuesday.
Moss Point police have issued arrest warrants for Jarris Thames, 21, Kevin Byrd, 21, and Edward Brown, whose age was unavailable. The three, all of Moss Point, are charged with the murder of Ranada Davis.
Mobile County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Kate Johnson said the three men were reportedly traveling eastbound on U.S. 90 in Mobile.
Moss Point Police Chief Demetrius Drakeford said Davis, 30, died Monday of a gunshot wound to the head at Singing River Hospital in a shooting outside a local home.
Drakeford declined to release other details because of the ongoing investigation.
