Pearl River Central scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to overcome a 7-5 D’Iberville lead and pull out an 8-7 win in the Class 4A South State baseball semifinals on Saturday.

Josh Lee’s two run triple tied the game and then Lee scored on the same play when the throw from centerfield was over the head of the third baseman.

Lee had four hits and drove in three in the run, while Sean Kelly picked up the win with some excellent relief pitching.
