Myron William Hanson, 74, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2007 at his residence.

A Memorial Tribute for Mr. Hanson will be held at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 14 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local SPCA or the American Lung Association.

Mr. Hanson, a resident of Carriere, was born in New Orleans, La. and came to this area from Slidell, La. twenty years ago. He was a self-employed homebuilder, cookbook author and restaurant owner. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Joycelyn Hanson of Carriere; two sons, Alfred F. Hanson II of Houston, Texas and Wesley M. Hanson of Pacoima, Calif.; one sister, Jan Aragon of Houston and four grandchildren.
