Information about West Nile Virus will be presented to the public at a meeting at city hall on Thursday.

According to a press release from the City of Picayune, Sharon Sims with the Mississippi Department of Health will meet with the public and the city council at 6 p.m. Thursday in the council’s chambers.

There Sims will give an overview of the virus and how to effectively protect yourself from it.

A power point presentation will be used and brochures will be passed out to those who attend.
