Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Frances G. Mitchell, 83, of Picayune, who passed away Saturday, April 7, 2007 in Picayune.

Burial was held in the New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home of Picayune.

Brother Leo Burge officiated at the service, and was assisted by Bro. Wesley Quave.

A native of Pearl River County, she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Mitchell and one son, Leo Douglas Mitchell.

Survivors include: one daughter, Bunny (Don) Burge of Carriere; three grandsons, Randy (Debbie) Burge, Richie (Christian) Burge and Shawn (Deborah) Burge; eight great-grandchildren, Leo (Amber), Trevor, Tyler, Aleea, Trey, Shawna and Ethan Burge.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 9, 2007 from 6-9 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
