Eddie Belle Means Fleming, age 74, died on Friday, January 26 at Natchez Regional Medical Center.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, February 3 at Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church, Weems Street, Picayune. The family will welcome friends from 11 a.m. until service time Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be at Picayune Cemetery.
Eddie was born in Eutaw, Alabama May 18, 1932, the daughter of the late Eugene and Lou Etta Walker Means. She was a member of Zata Phi Bata and Church Choir.
Survivors include: two daughters, Etta Scott and Deborah Jordan both of Picayune; one son, Otis Fleming of Natchez; four sisters, Bessie Means and Mary A Jones both of Picayune, Lois Johnson of Buffalo, New York and Alma Hayes of Gulfport; one brother, James A. means of Somerset, MA; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
