Rick David Detillier Sr., an employee of DSM and member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 11, died Friday, January 12, 2007. He was 43.

Mr. Detillier was born in New Orleans, La., and was a resident of Picayune, for the past 19 years. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Picayune.

Survivors include: his wife, Connie Hartman Detillier; two sons, Rick Jr. and Ryan; his mother, Brigitte Detillier; two brothers, Theodore “Teddy” and Wilhelm “Willie”; and a host of other family members.

He was preceded by his father the late Roy Detillier.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., New Orleans on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at 11 a.m.

Friends may visit on Monday, January 15, 2007 from 6-9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment in Gates of Heaven Mausoleum, in Westwego, La.
