Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Huey W. Mitchell, 72, of Picayune, who died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006.

The Rev. Charles Varnado officiates at the service. Burial is in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Mississippi, he was a construction worker.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth Allen Mitchell of Picayune; a sister, Virginia Lumpkin of Picayune, and two grandchildren.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Monday, Jan 1, at the funeral home.
