Memorial services will be held Friday, January 12, 2007 at 6 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Gayla Godshaw, 53, of Carriere who died Monday, January 8, 2007 in Carriere.

The Rev. Buddy Powe will officiate at the service.

A native of Slidell, La., she was a CSM for Wal-Mart for 15 years.

Survivors include: her husband, Billy Godshaw of Carriere; one daughter, Theresa Godshaw of Carriere; her mother, Mrs. Rosalie Powe of Carriere; one granddaughter, Caliegh Leary of Slidell, La., and one sister, Mary Ellen Broussard of Abbeyville, La.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2007 from 5-6 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
