Residents in Pearl River County may have to alter their garbage pickup during the New Year’s holiday.

Those Waste Management customers who reside in Poplarville who normally have their waste picked up on Tuesday will be serviced on Wednesday, a release from the company states. Friday customers will have their waste picked up as normal.

Picayune residents who are normally serviced on Monday will have their waste picked up on Tuesday. Hideaway Lake customers who are serviced on Monday also will have their waste picked up on Tuesday, the release states.
