Services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, at Gulf Coast Funeral Home Chapel for Katie Cuevas Smith, 90, of Perkinston, who died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006.

Burial is in John Gaston Shaw Cemetery under the direction of Gulf Coast Funeral Home.

A native of Harrison County, she was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, J.D. Shaw and Jeffery Shaw, both of Crane Creek, and Milton Shaw of International Falls, Minn.; four daughters, Betty Farmer of Gulfport, Gloria Wilson and Janis Dedeaux, both of Poplarville, and Cecelia “Dot” Shaw of Riceville; 22 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, at the funeral home.
