The Civic Woman’s Club of Picayune has selected Mrs. Donna Cooper as this year’s Grand Marshall for the Christmas Parade which rolls on the streets of downtown Picayune, Monday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m.

Cooper was chosen as Club Woman of the Year for 2005-2006 for the local club. In club tradition, the Club Woman of the Year is selected as Grand Marshall of the Christmas Parade. Recent past recipients are Kathleen Penton, Darlene Adams, Sylvia Seal and Leslie Lincoln.

The Chamber of Commerce also selected Cooper as their Citizen of the Year.
