Runoff goes without a hitch
The runoff election for three judge seats went off without a hitch, as far as voter concerns and machine problems.
In the run off election for Chancery Court Judge District 10 Place 2, Sebe Dale Jr. lead in Pearl River County with 1,472 votes to Ed Pittman Jr.’s 862 votes.
For Chancery Court Judge District 10 Place 4 Gene Fair carried Pearl River County with 1,244 votes to Deborah Gambrell’s 1,068 votes.
In the Circuit Court Judge District 15 Place 2 race, Prentiss Harrell lead in Pearl River County with 1,595 votes to Forest Dantin’s 735 votes.
Only 7.49 percent of the registered voters in the county showed up to cast their votes in the runoff.
