Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Old Palestine Baptist Church for Reginald Luther Davis, 86, of Picayune, who died Friday, Nov. 17, 2006.

Elder Gary Sumrall officiates at the service, assisted by Elder Danny Barber. Burial is in Old Palestine Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

A native of Picayune, he was a carpenter, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Old Palestine Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Minnie Lou Davis of Picayune; two daughters, Regina Byrd of Picayune and Gwendolyn Sumrall of Carriere; a sister, Lavonne Williams of Picayune; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, William Sidney Davis.

Visitation was 6-9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, and is 1-2 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 21, at the church.
