Services were at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Ronnie H. Carter, Sr., 59, of Carriere, who died Friday, Oct. 6, 2006.

The Rev. Tim Parker officiates at the service. Burial is in Springfield Graveyard Assn., Rincon, Ga., under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Savannah, Ga., he was a septic company owner and a member of 1st Baptist Church of McNeill.

Survivors include his parents, William (W.H.) and Christine Carter of Carriere, and a son, Ronnie H. Carter, Jr.

Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at the funeral home.
