Services are at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, at 1st Baptist Church of Picayune, for Karen Marie Sheffield, 23, of Picayune, who died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, in Baton Rouge, La.

The Rev. Dr. Keith Warden officiates at the service. Burial is in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Hattiesburg, she was employed a student and a member of 1st Baptist Church of Picayune.

Survivors include her father, Billy Sheffield of Picayune; her grandfather, Buntsy Sheffield of Picayune, and a sister, Lara Anne Landrum of Picayune.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Anita Sheffield and a sister, Betsy Belle Sheffield.

Visitation is 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, at the church.
