The Mississippi Legislature has mandated a new Chancery Court Judgeship for Forrest, Lamar, Marion, Pearl River and Perry counties, known as Post 4. In early March, I qualified to seek this position and now humbly solicit you and your family’s support in my efforts to be elected to this position.

For the past 25 years I have served as a Justice Court Judge in Forrest County while continuing to maintain my law practice, serving clients throughout South Mississippi. As I have said to many of you that I’ve had the opportunity to meet on the campaign trail, I am hardworking and have worked tirelessly to be fair, impartial and compassionate in handling matters that have come before me and will seek to bring those same qualities to bench if elected Chancery Court Judge.

I recognize that many of the matters that come before the Chancery Court affect the lives of each and every citizen of our State, and know that issues relating to divorce, child custody, property division and land issues are very personal and sensitive areas of the law and should be dealt with by persons who are concerned and committed to rendering justice in a fair and impartial manner. I have had the occasion to deal with these issues in my practice, on the bench and with my involvement in the community.

I feel that my commitment to the practice and to the citizens that I have served for the past 25 years exemplifies my desire to continue to render justice in a fair and impartial manner. I humbly ask for your vote and support … on Nov. 7 vote Deborah Gambrell, Chancery Court Judge, Post 4.
