I, Sebe Dale, Jr., take this opportunity to formally announce to the voters of Forrest, Lamar, Marion, Pearl River and Perry counties my candidacy for re-election to the office of Chancery Judge, Place Two, Tenth Chancery District.

I have worked tirelessly to get your court work done expeditiously and fairly. I have taken every opportunity to improve myself as judge by attending virtually every seminar offered to expand my knowledge of the law and technique of being an effective judge. As Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Mississippi Judicial College, I have put forth much effort to improve and expand continuing education of judges and others in the judicial field.

The Chancery Judges Conference elected me as a member of the Judicial Advisory Study Committee created by the Legislature. As Chairman, I was instrumental in presenting to the Legislature information and recommendation which resulted in the creation of a new Place Four Chancery Judge in our District.

I have carried my full case load and have disposed of my share and more of the cases each year. As Senior Chancellor, I spearheaded the computerization of the docket in the Clerk’s and Chancellors’ offices, resulting in most of that information being available to the lawyers and the public by internet access.

My work ethic and contribution to the judiciary of the State has been recognized by numerous awards including: Chief Justice Award, 1996; Bar Association Lifetime Achievement Award, 1997; Mississippi State University Pre-Law Distinguished Jurist Award, 2000; Bar Association Judicial Excellence Award, 2006.

My desire to serve you is as great as ever, my energy level high, my health excellent, and I covet your vote and influence to permit me to continue as your Chancery Judge, Place Two, Tenth Chancery Court District.
