Services are at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, at 1st Baptist Church of Picayune, for Anita Marie Sheffield, 50, of Picayune, who died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, in Mandeville, La.

The Rev. Dr. Keith Warden officiates at the service. Burial is in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Mendenhall, she was a teacher and a member of 1st Baptist Church of Picayune.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Sheffield of Picayune; a daughter, Lara Anne Landrum of Picayune, and a grandson.

Visitation is 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, at the church.
