Grant sentenced to life

According to a press release from the District Attorney’s office, on Friday Sept. 1, 2006 a Pearl River County Circuit Court Jury on Friday, Sept. 1, found Robert Grant, 37, with a last known address of 985 Myrick Ave., Lumberton, guilty of the murder of Arthur Joshua.
The court held a habitual offender bifurcated hearing prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Manya Creel Bryan prior to the sentencing of Grant. After the hearing, the court found Grant was a habitual offender and sentenced him to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.
