Sheriff’s department Maj. Jody Waldrop said the shooting happened at a birthday party after an argument started over Jenkins’ husband.

Jenkins claimed someone was trying to attack her with a bottle so she pulled out a pistol and started shooting, Waldrop said.

Donald was shot in the chest and was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Sheriff Ronny Brown said Donald was an innocent bystander.
