Services are at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, at Roseland Park Baptist Church for A.R. Sumrall, 86, of Carriere, who died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, in Hattiesburg.

The Rev. John Brock officiates at the service, assisted by the Revs. Dan Young and James Wright. Burial is in Carriere Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Marion County, he was a farm manager for LaRow Plantation and a member and deacon of Roseland Park Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jessie G. Sumrall of Carriere; two daughters, Jan Dill and Anita Sumrall, both of Carriere; a brother, A.J. Sumrall of Fruitland Park, Fla.; a sister, Iva Mae Selman of Columbia; two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24.
