Poplarville went on the road and knocked off Moss Point 11-1 in prep slowpitch softball action Tuesday night.
The Lady Hornets are now 6-1 on the year.
Taylor Meyers got the pitching win and had a single, while Larke Nightengale had a big night at the plate for Poplarville as she had a triple and a pair of singles. Kayla Ross had two singles as did Megan Ladner, and Kristen Cuevas and Kelsey Vamos each collected a double and a single for the winners.
Poplarville is at East Central Thursday.
