Poplarville ran its record to 5-1 on the season with a 6-2 win over Harrison Central in slow pitch softball action Thursday night.
The Lady Hornets were paced at the plate by Christian Cuevas, who had a pair of singles and drove in a pair of runs as well while Kayla Ross added two singles also.
Larke Nightengale had a triple, and Irena Stringer had a double and drove in two runs also.Taylor Meyers was the winning pitcher.
Poplarville plays again Tuesday, travelling to Moss Point.
