Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 6, at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Thelma O. Cobb, 79, of Carriere., who died Monday, July 3, 2006, at Louisiana Heart Hospital in LaCombe.

Pastor Blaine officiates at the service. Burial is in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Cottondale, Ala., she was a social worker and a member of Springhill Baptist Church in Mobile, Ala.

Survivors include her husband, Jim C. Cobb, Sr., of Carriere; four daughters, Judy Taylor of Carriere, Patricia Roberts of Mobile, Beverly Cobb of Orange Beach, Ala., and Gwendolyn Cobb of Pensacola, Fla.; a son, Jim C. Cobb, Jr., of Summer Shade, Ky.; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, July 6, at the funeral home.
