Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Monday, July 3, at New Palestine Cemetery in Picayune for Robert Sydney Taylor, Jr., 65, of Marrero, La., who died Friday, June 30, 2006.

The Rev. Galen Bond officiated at the service. Burial was in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of New Orleans, he was a Merchant Marine.

Survivors include a sister, Agnes Elliott of Marrero, and two brothers, Gerrard Taylor and Howard Taylor, both of Marrero.
