Services are at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 9, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church for Elmer Allen Bond, 86, of Picayune, who died Friday, July 7, 2006.

The Rev. Wayne Rice officiates at the service. Burial is in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Bolivar County, he was a welder and a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Nellie Bond of Picayune; two sons, Ronnie Bond of Carriere and Bobby Bond of Picayune; a sister, Dorothy Anderson of Jackson, and two grandchildren.

Visitation is 2-3 p.m. Sunday, July 9, at the church.
