A Fourth of July celebration will be held at the McNeill Volunteer Fire Department and the public is invited.

The celebration will feature door prizes, games, a bicycle parade, an emergency service parade, music by the Sullivan Family, arts and crafts booths, food, and fire works.

Arts and crafts booths can set up for free in a designated area at the event and any local talent that would like to perform at the event is welcome.

The emergency service parade is set to begin at 9 a.m. with the other events to take place all day. Fireworks will be provided by HSI ready Mix and C. Spiers and Sons and will begin at dark.

Country style food will be cooked by the fire department and available to the public.

Entertainment will be provided by the Sullivan Family of St. Stevens Ala., who has been entertaining crowds for more than 50 years with their brand of gospel bluegrass music. The group made its start on Picayune’s WRJW, according to www.thesullivanfly.com/.

Residents from all over are urged to attend and take part in all the festivities.
