Super Bowl party preparations

Sunday is the big day for sports fans.
While some people will be arguing as to which team will bring home Super Bowl championship rings, you may be preparing to host a number of family, friends and co-workers for the big game.
The first thing you will want to do is decide who you will invite.
If this is your first party, keep it simple. Keep the list to family you get along with and close friends.
If your guests want to invite someone you don’t know, it will be your call whether you give the green light.
The most important step is to tidy up. No one wants to put their special brew in a fridge filled with science experiments or sit in a room with clutter while rooting for their favorite championship team.
Which brings us to the next tip, be sure there are enough seats for your guests. While people will be milling about, they will eventually want to sit down, especially during the half time commercials.
Drinks and food should also be on the agenda. Be sure to have plenty of ice, soda, water and, if applicable, adult beverages, on hand for your guests. Don’t forget to secure your designated driver.
Pick a budget and stick to it.
As for the types of food, keep the menu simple. Finger foods are the easiest to serve, and prepare.
To hold it all go ahead and invest in good disposable plates, cups and utensils.
Cleanup will be a breeze, and there won’t be any concern about broken glassware or dishes to clean.
