Annie Laurie Flynt, 91, of Picayune, Mississippi (formerly of Hammond, Louisiana and Bay St. Louis, Mississippi), died Saturday, July 25, 2015 in Highland Community Hospital, Picayune.
Funeral services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Shane Moore will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in Poplarville City Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Flynt was born November 13, 1923 in Lumberton (Spring Hill), Mississippi to Albert Nathaniel Ladner and Georgia (nee’ Dixon) Ladner. She was a retired office manager with McCain and Kate Insurance Agency in Hammond, Louisiana. She was a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church in Picayune. She was a longtime member of Woodland Park Baptist Church in Hammond, LA
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Flynt; and two sisters, Maebelle Rose, Eloise Wichman.
Family members include two sons, Gregory Flynt (Elizabeth), Ab Flynt (Beverly); 5 grandchildren Molli Flynt, Keri Flynt McKinney (Mark), Eric Flynt (Greta), Lori Flynt Klassen (Jeff) and David Flynt who all loved their “Grandma” very much; and six loving great-grandchildren, Anna, Jonah, John Mark, Taylor, Connor and Isaac.
