Agencies Attend Bomb Prevention Training in Gulfport

Representatives from various Pearl River County agencies, along with Sgt. Brian Anthony of the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department participated in bomb prevention training hosted by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Office for Bombing Prevention.

The training in Gulfport focused on key skills, including identifying the components of explosive devices, conducting effective searches for such devices, and developing bomb management plans in the event of a threat.

“This training is essential for ensuring the safety of our community and enhancing our preparedness for potential threats,” said a representative from the Sheriff’s Department.
