Baseball

The Picayune baseball team is 5-4 this season. In their last outing, they muscled back from a 2-0 deficit by scoring 6 runs in the 6th inning to beat Forrest County Agricultural Aggies. The next game will be Tuesday, March 7, against the Vancleave Bulldogs (5-3) in Vancleave at 7 p.m.

The Pearl River Central baseball team is 6-3 this season. In their last outing, they beat the Oak Forest Academy Yellowjackets, 5-2. On that night, PRC had 4 RBIs and 7 hits. PRC will play the Yellowjackets again on Tuesday, March 7 at 7 p.m in Amite, LA

The Poplarville baseball team is still undefeated at 5-0 this season. In their last outing, they beat the Wayne County War Eagles 8-3. Joseph Blackeney and Trip Jones had 2 RBIs. Poplarville will play Pope John Paul II Jaguars on Tuesday, March 7 at 7 p.m. in Slidell, LA.

Softball

The Lady Maroon Tide softball team is 3-6 this season. They previously beat the Biloxi Indians, 6-1. The Lady Tide will travel to play Bay High Tigers (1-6) on Tuesday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m.

The Lady Blue Devils softball team is 5-3 this season. in their last outing, they lost to The West Lauderdale Knights, 5-3. The Lady Blue Devils will play at Wayne County this Thursday, March  9 at 4:30 p.m.

The Lady Hornets softball team is 6-5 this season. In their last outing, they lost to the Hancock Hawks 10-0. The Lady Hornets will host George County Rebels (7-1) Monday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m.
