Betty S. Smith of Henleyfield, Mississippi, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 12, 2020 at the age of 90.

Betty was a resident of Henleyfield Community for over 61 years and a member of First Baptist Church of Henleyfield. For 28 years she worked at Walmart where she enjoyed helping people. Betty and her husband, Q.C., celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary before he passed away last year. She was a loving person who cared deeply for her friends and family.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Smith (Linda) and Dudley Smith (Gaye) of Henleyfield, Mississippi; one daughter, Judy Hespen (Steve) of Henleyfield, Mississippi; five grandchildren, Chad Smith, Whitney Caves, Kayla Smith, Hunter Hespen and Haley Hespen; six great-grandchildren, Cody, Morgan, Koner, Marlee, Finley and Lily; and one great-great-grandchild, Kutter.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Q.C. Smith; parents, George W. Stogner and Eunice Keaton; three brothers, James Stogner, Ray Stogner, and Willard Stogner; four sisters, Mary Stogner, Minnie Sharp, Faye Tynes and Edith Jackson.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Henleyfield Cemetery.
