Graveside Funeral Services for Margaret Elaine Miller, age 77, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Monday, April 13, 2020, were held Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at West Union Cemetery.

Burial is in West Union Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Rev. Bud Putnam officiated the service.

A native of Carriere, MS, she was a retired special needs caretaker at St. Francis Bridgeway Apartments, Picayune, MS. Margaret was a member of West Union Baptist Church.

Margaret loved working in her yard, working with her flowers, baking and making candy at Christmas, spending time with her family, and her beloved dog, Maggie. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Nathaniel Spiers and Georgia McCormick Spiers; her husband, John Miller; her brothers, Jerry Spiers, Reese Spiers, and James “Bud” Spiers; and her sister, Mary Kennedy.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted sons, Glen (Missy) Rayburn and Todd (Stacey) Rayburn; her granddaughters, Sarah Rayburn (Kenny) McDonald and Bethany Rayburn; her great-granddaughter, Lucy Haselmaier; her sisters, Barbara (KW) Loveless Matherne, Marilyn Whitfield, Karen Craft, Melinda (Richard) Crawford, Linda Sue Jarrell; her sisters-in-law, Kay Spiers and Beverly Spiers; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
