Born July 1, 2009 in Picayune, Mississippi to Stephanie Summers, Joshua was the light of his mother’s life.

He leaves behind his parents Stephanie Summers and Greg Nelson; grandparents, Dawn Fisher Miller and Donnie Miller, Michael (Paw Paw) Morel and Beth (Babushka) Morel, Peggy (Grammaw Peggy) Magee and Stepfon (Step) Magee; and great-grandparents, Angela Johnson Harvey and Calvin Harvey; as well as many, many aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.

Joshua was an avid sports fan and proudly wore # 6 for the PBA 2020 Basketball Championship winning Warriors. He attended Nicholson Elementary School, 5th grade where he took first place in the school Science Fair and advanced to the state level.

Most importantly, Joshua had a deep love for his family, and cherished the time they would spend together playing practical jokes on each other, and enjoying family time together.

Those who knew Joshua, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. He never met a stranger and always had a big smile for everyone he knew. His sometimes stubborn, yet loving and caring personality will be missed by all who knew him
A private celebration of life for Joshua will be held at a later date.

Entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home.
