Memorial Services for Edwin G. “Ed” Goede, age 86, of Hide-A-Way Lake, MS, who passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020, will be held at a date to be determined.
Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Cleveland, OH, he was a retired Plant Manager for International Paper Company. Ed was a loving father, Papa, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Gottheart Goede and Ethel Mae Fertig Goede; his wife of 62 years, Patricia Ann Manning Goede; his brothers, Edwin Goede, Garth Goede, Donald Goede, Richard Goede, Robert Goede, and Howard Goede; his sisters, Katherine Goede Faulkner, Ethel Goede Ritter, Ruth Goede Clack, Margaret Goede Chismar, and Jane Goede Lockhart.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted daughters, Elizabeth “Beth” (Ed) Ennis and Teresa “Terri” Martin; 3 granddaughters, Melissa (Ryan) Olsen, Katelyn (Donald) Kridler, and Brooke (Jamie) Stuart; 5 great-grandchildren, Alana Kridler, Reese Olsen, Hunter Kridler, Caden Olsen, and Aiden Stuart; his brother-in-law, Don Chismar; his sister-in-law, Beverly Goede; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
