Lifelong resident of Mississippi, Charles Ross “Tad” Jordan passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones April 17, 2020.

Tad was born to Charles Aubon Jordan and Sarah Nell Dillard Haislip on December 29, 1969 in Perkinston, MS. He was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
Tad was known for his outgoing sense of humor, love of the outdoors and compassionate soul. For many years he worked as a heavy equipment operator in construction. The different skill sets he possessed as a handy man allowed him to dabble in a number of projects. Whether Tad was fixing four-wheelers, building a front porch, or repairing a lawnmower, he was always excited to get his hands dirty.

Tad is survived by his daughters, Donalynn Balkcom, Jena Serigne (Allen Diez) and Summer Jordan, along with one whom he loved as his own, Allesha Vieregge. He was a loving Popa to his grandchildren, Lexi Balkcom, Jaxson Delaune, Makaylyn Delaune, and Shawn Nolf. He is survived by his love Robin Odom. He is the dear brother to his surviving siblings, Raymond Jordan (Sue), Nancy Jordan Smith, Elizabeth Golden (Tommy) and Ronald Jordan (Gracie).

Tad is proceeded in death by both parents and his brothers, Aubon “Ray” Jordan, Ervin “Roy” Jordan, Rodney Jordan, and Rodger Jordan.

Due to current restrictions on social gatherings, a celebration of Tad’s life will be held at a later date.

The family gives special thanks to Payton, Jacob, Angela and Jamie of Encompass Health for their outstanding care and compassion.
