Arthur John Bienvenu Sr., a resident of Carriere, MS, was born September 8, 1949 in New Orleans, LA. Arthur owned a flooring installation company and retired in 2014 after over forty years of hard work and dedication. He was a loving father, respected mentor and a trusted friend. His strong character and work ethic were contagious. His family was his greatest blessing and his crowning achievement. He gave to everyone and would help anyone in need. Arthur was one of a kind and will be missed by all whom he encountered. He was of the Catholic faith and truly loved the Lord. Arthur Bienvenu Sr. was gathered into God’s arms for eternity Thursday, April 9, 2020 at the age of 70.

He will be greeted in heaven by his parents, Richard Sr. and Lillian Bienvenu; brothers, Richard Bienvenu Jr. and Larry Bienvenu Sr.; lifelong companion, Wendy Bienvenu; and many other family members and friends.

He is survived by his children: Jacquelyn (Jason) Stephens, Arthur (Hannah) Bienvenu Jr., Phillip (Jennifer Bradley) Bienvenu, Lisa (Tom Clay) Santos, Vicki (Dennis) Duncan; grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives.

Arrangements are postponed due to the current pandemic. A Celebration of Life for Arthur will be held at the Senior Center of Pearl River County, 45 El Patch Parkway, Picayune, MS, 39466. The date will be released at a later date for all family and friends.
